Traveling the world to trip inward

I am a Venezuelan girl who migrated to the United States in 2014. As a history lover having the opportunity to learn "Universal History" in Venezuela and in The United States was a fascinating and determining experience for me.  I was captivated by how different historical moments were taught in different countries. I pondered on how the education frames the thinking and rationale of the next generation. This is why I chose International Relations as my field of study and since I have become even more enamored with the dynamic of the globalized era we live in.

I graduated Florida International University in 2022 with a major in International Relations and minor in Intercultural Communications. Determined to promote the Social Development Goals in Latin America, I accomplished a certificate in Latin American Studies. As I started working on my field I realized that community values and the local scene is the first step anyone who wants to make a difference in the world has to take. So while I kept thinking global, I started to act local.

In 2020 with the pandemic I realized I was pushing away my art because of my academic endeavors. Creative expression became my way of dealing with the difficulties the world was throwing at us. I contemplated the importance of creativity in my life and started creating accordingly. Most of my creations are inspired by my passion for global citizenship and my intention on unifying an ever more divided world.  In 2022 I decided to start a movement called "Creative Monday" through which I invited my close friends to create freely and start the week with a decompressing art session at my house. More and more friends wanted to join me and that is when I decided to take my own initiative serious and talked with Tripping Animals Brewing to make this a public event.

Since January 2023 Creative Monday is up and running for the public to enjoy art freely and connect to their inner creative. This event resulted in a collective of artists meeting every week. Many projects steered and keep coming out of it, but one of them changed my life for ever. Along with two great friends and artists we founded "Find The Click" a company that is fully dedicated to bringing more art to public spaces and encouraging different forms of connection and entertainment at a party city just like Miami. We have hosted more than 70 events and inspired a bunch of people in our community to pursue their dreams (specially the artistic ones.) Including myself in this last two years I got a lot more serious on my Collage practice and have now two collections up for sale and a lot more art in the pipe coming out.

Because that Is what my life is about expressing to the world through colors images and fun experiences.
